“Top Up”, is in response to the death of Serena's 96-year-old mother and the subsequent grief, emotional and physical exhaustion following. The viewer is invited into a cozy cafe, with enticing sweets, hydration, opportunity to connect, refresh, retreat or ponder the formal garden through the window beyond. The roof is removed, exposing customers to what appears to be a storm retreating.
